The only answer is to call Bobbie and the strays and only they can accommodate you or not. They will redirect you to another source should they not be able to help you. This is NEW York there are a lot of places like north shore Animal hospital and non kill shelters that will take your doggie. In NYC, relinquished animals must go to Animal Care and Control, the municipal shelter. Rescue organizations pick-up the most adoptable pets from them.
