Very terrible people. I had a cat that was inside and outside she loved to go outside during the summer time for the sun and to play and lived inside with me. This random lady came up to me asking if she can take her because she’s an outside cat when in fact she isn’t and is mine.. for 5 years. She was spayed and updated with all her shots. She have came days after days asking if she can rescue her when she didn’t need any recusing as she lived at home with me. One morning the lady came and took my cat as i was getting ready for work after i told her no multiple times. I haven’t gotten my girl back in almost 2 years and i will indeed be looking for her. The lady blocked my number after a couple days of me asking for updates of where she is at. I don’t know how you guys hire people to come to our neighborhoods to take OUR animals. She looked like she was a drunk also.

Great place that works with shelters to adopt critters. I made a few donations here. Hope it helps in some way.

Really cute dogs but the folks were rude on the phone. When I called to ask about a dogs temperament they replied - "I mean it's a dog" and were generally uninterested in helping me. Their adoption is not first come first serve but based on their standards. Standards that are pretty opaque. They don't adopt out young pups to folks who live in apartments if the can help it. The process put me off. It seemed like they generally wouldn't consider me for a dog even though I've been a foster dog parent for a few years now. I really wanted to rescue a dog but after my experience with this org and a few others I ended up paying for a pup. I will keep fostering puppies but the process really needs to be rethought.

I love everything about this place and the staff. Go donate!

The only answer is to call Bobbie and the strays and only they can accommodate you or not. They will redirect you to another source should they not be able to help you. This is NEW York there are a lot of places like north shore Animal hospital and non kill shelters that will take your doggie. Please don't set him out in the street, dont abandon him for he will die and be abused. Contact me back if you don't find a solution and let me.know where you found him a home. Thanks for caring.
I have a cat, his name is Pipo, very gentle and loving, I moved to a coop that do not accept pets. I need to find a home soon. Would you take him.
Alex M l have a female German Shepard 5 months old. She's received vaccinated
Call first - but they will probably have you come right over to drop the items off.
If you are not the owner and they are strays , it is therefore a city issue and would report to 311. This is a place more for owner relinquished pets .yes its true . I found a dog and was told to contact city , or ascpa... They only take the animal if your the owner and it has been cared for .
I have several kittens that are two cute to describe, I wish I could keep them all. There demeanor is amazing. they don't play much rather they just cuddle. Imagine a cat you can carry like a baby on his back and rub his belly as he purrs and another who sits on your shoulder as you use your computer like a parrot until he falls asleep. I really need good people to adopt my children...
Yes they sometimes do have puppies or young dogs . a couple of months old never weeks. Your better off walking in .
Yes And how much
I would call them directly
Do you still have any kittens?
You can only return him if you adopted him from them, but why would you have gotten a cat if your wife was allergic ggrr
Im looking for one? Are they still available?
call them what kind if dog and how old?
call them they are very nice.
Dont know havent been there but I've heard they r very good!!!
Yes but you need to go on our site and look at pics. Fill our an app, send it back and request for a in person appt.
This is not a pet store, this is an animal rescue operation. Go to the website for adoption informations including applicable fees.
That location is still closed. You might check with food pantries.
No
acc Animal Care and Control they have plenty
Ok so you must put the dog in the crate all day and only take him out to eat and then take him for a walk with in 10 minutes and then back in the crate. Only feed him when you’re taking him out
I would call them or go there.
The Queens kennel for Bobbi & the Strays only has small dogs. The larger dogs like a pit bull would have to be brought to Freeport.
Hi Bobbi, I'm looking to adopt a small dog. Would prefer a puppy to train. I checked your website don't see any listed. Are there any coming in soon?
You have to be a stray cat 18 years or older to volunteer. Sorry Gabby.
None that I know of sorry.
One block away from Bobby and the strays is the felines hospital ...its that curvy road with wharehouse . its on the left . that is also where a.s.a.p. goes with the health van. If you are on any assistance they might help for free . bring proof .
They keep small dogs here in Queens. They have another shelter in Freeport where they have larger dogs. I don't think they have puppies.
Not free, we paid about $370 when we rescued our little guy from Bobbi"s
You can ask them but I doubt it. It's a small space. They do have a bigger shelter in Freeport. They may ask you for a donation to take the cat. Good luck. I know from experience how difficult it is
No gotta be 14/15 with parent permission and Just work wit cats. 16/17 and can work with dogs but not walk them and 18 without parent permission and do everything
I have a small sized dog. She's a Chihuahua/Sheba Inu mix and she weighs 10 lbs. But, she's just older, 13 years. She loves to cuddle and loves attention. I haven't had time to give her that because of school and work. Do you want her?
No bring her to ASPCA they will help you
You can also contact the ASPCA on Linden Blvd.
Get them fixed and vaccinated....aspca spay truck
WHO???
Not at Atlas but try the. Freeport location
You have to be 16 with parent permission and 18 without.
I would call them first.
Bobbi and the strays are in the back of that little mall in middle village
Kittens are sweet but also has many illness, so be careful with that, check with the veterinarian if the kitten is goog.
Hi, I’m a little late but we’re you able to find a home for your kitten?
You pay for the services done to animal not for the aninal itself...vaccinations, microchip and spaying
Come to shelter and see which one you want, fill out application and someone will call you. If you have family members that live with you then they need to come with you because you choose dog but the dog needs to choose all of his future family members too. We need to see that dog accepts the entire family members.
I Would take her
Still have them?
I have taken my pets to be fixed at the ASPCA truck. Google ASPCA spay neuter mobile truck and look for their calendar. I recommend you get to the location of your choosing at 4am to make it on the list. They will fix, vaccinate and trim you pets nails for $125 or if on Gov't assistance $5
Hi all , I have a 1 year old black and white cat. He has received all his vaccinations and also has been neuter. His name is Oreo. He is a very cute and playful cat! But I can't take care of him anymore. Please help me find him a loving and caring family.
I have a male kitten are you still looking for one?
Can I come meet him?? Please contact me!
they are a no kill shelter, and take in as many dogs and cats as they can. -volunteer
I would take her
What kind of dog
If you still have them, I'd consider taking in a kitten
I can take it
16 but to work with the dogs you have to be 18
Call ASPCA OR ANIMAL CONTROL
Hi I took in a stray kitten from my block right before the snow storm hit. I can't keep him because I have a pit bull but couldn't bare to leave a little one outside in a snowstorm. Not sure if it's a girl or boy but it is incredibly cute. You would have to take all the necessary steps to make sure he's ok. I came across your comment looking for a shelter to take him but if you really want a kitten this one is adorable! comment back!
