What are the going rates

My husband gives ,but we always get a t-shirt or a bag or a 10$ visa card .. sometimes it's 20$ he gets ..I don't understand why these people are not giving anything ..even though I'm ok with only some blood donation company's and red cross is one of them ..I'm the great great granddaughter,the great granddaughter,A daughter and a wife of men who have All fought so that we could have freedom and peace 🙏 and The RED CROSS 💔 sales the blood we gave to them for our soldiers..they sale it to the f****** military our government..WHY??????? Can someone tell me I'm wrong ..
