The meats at the store I use always look real good and fresh. Good color and nice cuts. The veggies are usually in good condition, ripe and ready to eat or put in your recipes

If you are going to use the veggies and eat the fruit within a week then you are good to buy them at Winn Dixie. Publix seem to be a little fresher but it definitely depends on the day of the week you shop. You can save some money and get some from Aldi's they have a pretty good selection and it's always really good. I have noticed that it lasts longer in the fridge then most of the other stores. ( I had never shopped there until A two months ago) A friend of mine that drives a semi says that the difference is that Winn Dixie packages their stuff and it stays longer in the store. I have had some produce go bad rapidly from Walmart also. I would really say that no matter where you go to get your produce if you look at it really good and make sure it is in good condition then it should stay fresh. It all depends on how you store it also.

Very good. I get fruit there weekly.
