They have to rotate the pastures... I find when one dog is being a butthead and their owners aren't paying attention to the dog situation... I grab the poorly behaving dog so the scared dog can get away... sometimes it's my dog scared or being chased by others... I coax her away from the brat pack.. and find better suited dogs to play with.
Exactly. The size of a dog does NOT determine temperament. My dog is 70 lbs and gently and loves to socialize. Dogs who tries to dominate by mounting or pushing the dog down will always result in my dog defending himself. As an owner, be mindful that your dog, big or small is the problem if that happens. If the owner won't stop the behavior or even attempt to pull the dog away, the non-aggressive dog owner will, simply because they need to be separated and they care. Also, having one of the field for mid size dog may or may not work. Their are owners with different size dogs who bring the little one with the big one. Or even doggie play dates with dogs of different sizes. So, people should be aware of possible issues. I’ve even seen two owners leave their dog while they went for a walk/run.
