Is this still opened? Facebook page says it's permanently closed.

No it's closed permanently. The landlord pushed the owner (Ken) out of business once his lease was up, then hired one of the chefs to make a copy of Tomoe while Ken was regrouping. Tomoe is closed until Ken says otherwise. As much as I miss it, I can't ethically go to a place and support someone that blatantly stole 40 years of work from the original owner. Hopefully he reopens somewhere else soon

The original one was closed permanently but the new one was owned by the new owner with almost the same set of kitchen staffs so the food is pretty much the same and it was busy as the original one 😊😊You won’t disappointed

It’s open. Apparently they were going to close but decided to stay open. I went there a few days ago and it’s definitely open.
