Very similar all u can eat with full service they bring food to ur table, raw food u have put it in hot boiled pot do it ur self . $23. For pot each. $ 4 extra for grill pan with full service

Yes hotpot just means they give you a pot full of boiling liquid and soup base and you order whatever items you want to throw in the pot. There is usually a side buffet style bar where you can pick up a bunch of sauces and seasonings to throw in there too

Think of it as cooking your food in front of you with a pot of water. Essentially you're boiling the food you've picked. Your "water" essentially becomes soup with all the flavors mixed. You can change it up by using different soup bases instead of just water.
