As someone who has worked at a busy Hillstone restaurant in DC, take out is an option but I would always recommend calling ahead of time to ask. During high volume hours, we would never want to compensate quality or timeliness.
last week...they didn't. the young lady on the phone took a hard pass on a 140.00 ish order because it would "interfere with the dinning experiance" of their guests.
Yes they do pick up. During busy hours it does take awhile.
