Incredible! Food that tasted like FOOD! Enough on each plate to served two, so you know what's for lunch tomorrow, too! Pleasant and prompt service.

I arrived at 11:00 a.m. and I only saw a few people already there. The hostess sat me quickly, and my server Julian brought me some delicious coffee while I looked at my menu. I decided on a lunch special; open-faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and decided to get a salad from the salad bar as well. Everything was great and I especially liked the mini loaf of honey wheat bread. I was surprised when my entree arrived because it was big enough to feed two people but that means I have leftovers for tonight. Yeah! The place was beginning to fill up and it's always a good sign when I see seniors because they know a good value and good cooking. As I was eating I could hear other people ordering food and I noticed a lot of prime rib orders so I think it's a popular choice and my next one. I met the owner as I was getting ready to leave and I had to compliment him on doing everything right. They have a very friendly and efficient staff. Thanks again to Julian. Try it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I almost forgot... plenty of parking in the rear.

We visited for the first time last Saturday, found the place when looking for a restaurant that has a salad bar as there are almost none around anymore. The restaurant has been around for a long time and is very retro but in great shape. Seemed well maintained and clean. Loved the old school salad bar, only complaint is the size of the plates. The bread plate size makes it difficult to eat without half of it falling off onto the table. My husband got the turkey dinner special and the turkey was moist and flavorful. Stuffing was sort of runny but had a good taste. Mashed potatoes were homemade and great, gravy and corn were decent. I had the bigger cut of prime rib with mashed potatoes and corn as well. I ordered it medium rare and it was medium to medium well instead. They gave me the end piece which is always the most cooked through. I did not send it back as that is a big loss for them as they can can't use it once it hits the table. It still was fairly tender and a pretty good taste thankfully, would've been much better rarer but still was fairly enjoyable. Came with Au jus and a good horseradish so that helped a lot. We split a piece of apple pie afterwards. They are really big pieces and pretty good pie, great value. Our whole bill before tip was only $45 including tax; we definitely want to try it again even if it is a 20 minute drive from home. Keep doing what you're doing!

Nostalgic and delicious. Look, it's not new American or food with a modern twist. It's a place that takes you back in time when dishes have only a few components. They really nail those components though. Both the meatloaf and turkey were excellent and neither were dry. Mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Server was very friendly. What's not to love?

Plexiglass between booths. Staff wears masks. The salad bar is manned by staff so you just point and they add whatever you want.

It's pricy but home cooked non processed food is hard to find these days.
