The exchange policy depends on the item. It's like selling your college text book that you paid 100.00 for and selling it back to the bookstore which will only offer you 25, 20, or 15. Not worth the effort
Store credit is better. Gamestop doesn't give a reasonable price for your used games anyhow. Example if you sell a game that just came out that you pay $60 for it gamestop will offer around 20 or less than 30 with store credit
