I can't think of words to fully describe the feeling of comfort these Pierogis give me!! I was in area for a doctor's appt & in search of something I can't get made well where I moved to outside NY. So I was on a hunt. Surprised to find a Czech restaurant not far & on the list of mostly Polish spots in my Google search. Homemade Pierogis are what I really can't find out of LI/Queens too much & I'm 1/2 Czech so I guess I'm part of the problem 🙄. I ordered the Beef with Horseradish sauce- the sauce was perfect!! Not too thick or sweet/creamy. I had to forfeit most of the 2 dozen Pierogis over to the teenager when I got home, so glad I snuck 2 in the car. I will be back here to bring my family when in town. Very friendly staff. Super cozy place inside & outdoor tables. I am many generations away from immigrating here, but every detail reminded me of homes of grandparents in that side of my family from art to dolls. Bottom line food is delicious no matter where you come from or grew up on.

Now it was about nothing, because it was closed. And when someone closes the business for a week, at least they could improve the announcement, which hits the eyes right away.
