For the open mics, do the performers also pay admission fee or buy ticket like the rest of the people? If so how much is it? Is it being timed? How often do you have open mic

Thanks. I've performed a few open mics but every place us different. Sure I'd figured a shot asking them here. I did sign up at stress factory comedy club in Bridgeport but the thing that sucks they wont let you know that you are on their list to perform for that day of open mic the night before even if u signed weeks in advance . That's what lady told and emailed me. I signed up few days ago so I told my boss about it coz I work nights and if I'm not on list then I lose a night's pay. I wont sign up again after if I'm not on list. They should tell us right away. It's like they random pick people I guess. I dnt know. I know theres one in funny bone and candlewood market in fairfield which they started open mic recently brand new . Thank u for ur help ! 😁

I suggest you call and ask those questions. It is rare they respond on here. They are pretty friendly tho so they should not have any issues when you call. If you are thinking about doing open mic night you should just do it and get the experience. Also once a week the stress factory in Bridgeport does open mic night. Very professional. It's a nice new comedy club. Alot of great comics go there. Look it up and have fun!!
