the certificate lasts 4 years. taking the class isnt license to carry, but is a step closer. expunged charges shouldnt matter, according to my lawyer in Columbus. my son had improper transporting, a Felony..and we got it dropped to a misdemeanor 1. he was ok for the ccw class. Good luck.
Hello thank you for the question. Please contact your local sheriff's office to talk to them. They won't run a background check over the phone but they should be able to answer based on what you tell them about your background. Just be sure to tell them everything correctly. The sheriff is the one who runs the background check for the license and makes the determination.
