Is it possible to transfer data from one PS3 HDD into a new one, especially if the old one has my PS3 keep saying the system storage isn't found?

Yes you can. There are many forums for this situation. I was able to do it with my ps4 also and I went from 500gb to 2tb. I used a 1tb external hd to transfer all the data. On the ps3 you can also use a usb stick. The ps3 allows you to transfer data via settings. Always research before doing. Good luck.

Yes backup ur file saves on usb stick and then install new drive. Then reinstall saves from usb stick. I did it on mine went from 20gb to 250gb and runs better now. Also microcenter has great prices on 2.5 hard sata hard drives tryem out

Yes you can, you would need to back up the data to an external drive with enough space to accommodate the backup, then swap out the HDD in your PS4 with the new one and initiate the transfer tool on the ps4 and your good to go. Micro center can not do this for you though.
