No enough staff and low pay makes then not care.
Because Walmart doesn't care about their customers, just their profit margins. You can try calling corporate to complain, but they also might be difficult to reach. They understaff to cut corners and the customers suffer, but since they put a lot of other stores out of business we're left without a choice in where to buy stuff. It sucks.
When they have multiple call-outs, they have staffing problems for the phones at the fitting rooms which is where your call rings to.
