My son has been there 9 days and I haven't heard from him or his counselor. You can only make calls when your with your counselor and if they allow it. 9 days he should have seen a counselor by now. I called there to talk to SOMEONE HIS COUNSELOR, ANYONE... THE CALL IS TRANSFERRED AT LEAST 3 X. AND NOT BY A HUMAN .PERSON. NO ONE ANSWERS. THE PHONE.. .EVER!!! So, I write my son there, (after 2 days off trying to get the patient mailing address).. I mailed 2 letters on a Tues and the following Wednesday.8 days later he still hasn't gotten his mail. This place cares about no one but themselves.. They don't answer phones. Counselor doesn't call with any info whatsoever. AND VISITING IS ONE DAY A WEEK WHICH IS FINE.. BUT IT'S ON SUNDAY FROM 9-11AM. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.. PARENTS OUT THERE.. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SEND YOUR LOVED ONES
Clients are permitted to make calls with the permission of their counselor on an "as needed" basis.
Can you get in with no ID ? Would just a birth certificate be ok? Asking for a homeless friend of mine
Patients are rarely permitted to make outbound calls during their stay. If lucky you will meet your counselor once a week and be allowed a 5 minute outbound call. It is impossible for outside family members to make calls and contact patients inside the program.
