Because we are far enough from the main city that it takes an extra day for deliveries to reach us. Plus the scenic views pack a premium. Gas is more, water is more, rent is more, etc. Costs businesses more to do business, so their prices are higher.
You get what you pay for. Well worth it. Have you been to fast food places? Youll pay almost as much for junk food! Eat well, be well!
