Certificate of relief requires a long application, an investigation and interview from a parole officer. If you are looking for your discharge papers for completing parole that is something different. Google NYS DOCCS - on the very bottom of the page you will see a link to the certificate of relief. For a copy of your discharge or completion of parole - call your last parole officer and see if they can help you. More than likely you are going to have to track down the copy yourself - call 718 780 9316 between 9am - 4pm ask for the number to Central files, NYC closed files and the clemency department. You will have to call each one and get someone to locate a copy and mail or fax it to you. Sounds like a lot - but once you get those phone numbers things are pretty easy. Good luck and congratulations for completing parole and staying out of the system since your completion.
