I have a high school friend who has had MS for 40 years. She would like to move back to NJ. Is there a list of handicap housing options that are available for her she is on social security disability.

Susan, I was diagnosed with MS in 1996, and have been with the Gimber MS center since 1988. They have been very helpful and are not afraid of questions. That being said, wherever your friend moves she should find an MS specialist neurologist for her care

NJ is a large state your friend should start with her own social worker or go to her local library to figure out which state government departments she should contact. She should also have a narrow list of towns she wants to live in.
