For me I would chose the wall that faces me when I enter a room or leading into another room. Make it an accent wall. Or the biggest section wall of a room. The wall behind were the dining room table or the bed headboard will be placed. Or the wall leading upstairs.
I agree but make sure the sheen is not too glossy if the wall ISN'T the SMOOTHEST. Especially if lighting will shine down the wall and make imperfections stand out and drive you crazy. Watch for runs too. Nothing worse.
