You don't have to reserve a parking spot, there are several parking lots within a couple blocks. They cost between $15-$20. Not sure about a tailgate party. Have fun and enjoy!
You can pay for parking early before they sell out. If you don't buy early then you have to pay there. Make sure you bring cash. Can't help on the tailgate part, sorry.
