Yes they do treat you like ur aren't wanted!!!
I'm not a volunteer there but if I could answer your question I will because I go to the pantry every now and then. They go by your household size, they give you meat and veggies and clothes, some of the volunteers in clothes aren't very nice and they talk too you like you aren't wanted there.

Gee....I have never been there and am in desperate need of food and when I saw they have a clothes closet, I was going to donate a bunch of clothes, but not now. If they treat you like dirt, that's just not very Christian! Hillcrest Baptist church on Collins road treated me like I was going to steal something and I had just gave them a ton of clothes. And I was there earlier than my 3 MONTH visit (figured it would be no big deal to go ahead and get food, they treated me as if I were committing a crime!!) I hope the Potters House is not like that! I definitely WON'T ask or give them any of my clothes! Thanks ladies for the tip! God Bless 👼👼
