Yes they do. They charge cost but an additional 10% which is not tax so they get away with it on EBT (I saw it referenced below). There are other more cost efficient ways to shop. Also be careful of "discounted items". I have purchased things thinking I was getting a great deal and even exclaimed to the cashier wow I wonder why it is so inexpensive I though it was a misprice. The cashier remained silent but when I got home, I realized that the purchase I made in April of 2022 had an expiration date of January 2022 and the box looked absolutely pristine. This was an item in the freezer section. This is not the first time this has happened. Be sure to check your expiration dates. It is illegal in GA for grocery stores to sell expired items but with their Blue Lives Matter sign up good luck on that. Just be sure to check the expiry dates carefully before you leave.
