Really depends on what kind of pet you have and what needs to be done. For example, I have a male guinea pig that needed neutering and that would have been around $600 for all the different things involved. So for an exotic vet, its pretty much what you'd expect.
We are a Specialty and Emergency Clinic. Our Prices are higher than non-specialty clinics but within normal range for the market. If you have a standard wellness exam it is much less than an Emergency visit as would be expected. Our Vet is Avian Board Certified thus the ABVP after her name and we are an AHAA Referral Clinic, this is very rare for an Avian & Exotic Animal Clinic. Please note that by the time most birds or exotics Show illness, they have been harboring illness long before the owner notices and most cases we see are at critical when they present and most owners don't realize this. That is why we recommend Any changes in animals daily routine, behavior, urine and feces output or eating habits, They Should be examined by a vet. We hope this helps give valuable information to you and any future clients.
