Recently I am required to tap the key before I engage the car into drive. Previously I did not have to do this. How can i fix it?

Is the phone still connected to the car? Is Bluetooth on? If you change phones, you have to re associate the phone with the car.

Are you using the phone app? If so you can try logging out then back in. Sometimes this helps.
