I don't believe so, because they serve delicious food.
Yes. NC legislation passed last Fall allows patrons to order up to two drinks at a time. There's a reasonable summary of how the changes affected craft beer taprooms here: https://mountainx.com/food/beer-scout-new-laws-allow-two-drink-orders-and-pets-in-nc-taprooms/ Further, some patrons may be intoxicated after consuming alcohol and it is up to the discretion of the establishment when a patron should be refused additional drinks. At our establishments, all servers and bartenders go through the State's Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server Program (RASP). Learn more about the ABC's guidelines here: https://abc.nc.gov/Education/RASP The dilemma facing a server is that one never knows if a patron has consumed alcoholic beverages prior to landing at any given establishment. One must use a keen eye and follow the training to determine when someone should not be served additional alcohol. Sometimes that means limiting them to zero, one, two or more drinks.
