since I turned 16 how can I get my id online for minors my aunt told me that im going to need an application for minor since you guys have the 17 year old and up for driver license but Im trying to get the id online?

You need a birth certificate, SSC, and proof of residence and if you are a minor you need an adult with you and they will have to show proof of residence and say that you stay with them also make sure they have their ID as well. They prefer a parent or guardian. You can not get a new ID or DL online. Also, you can not just walk in you need an appointment you can go online to schedule the appointment and print off the forms you need and fill them out or you can get them there when you check-in. I just left the place today.

I am not sure you can get a new ID or DL online because you need a pic. If you are replacing an ID or DL you would go to the Texas Dept of Public Safety. I have replaced my drivers license online due to an address change. Your existing ID should have a unique number on it. The website will walk you through the process.
