I wouldn't count on a warantee. Buy from someone you trust. I would go see the guys at indian river RV and then get RV insurance from Progressive. I have full coverage for just a few dollars a month.
We bought a used unit from Fretz and highly recommend it. It's our first RV and they have been fantastic with their service!
Bob, you can Call Eric Fasci, at Fretz RV and I can give you information on our Certified Pre-Owned Program which gives you a guarantee on our late model used. We are one of the few dealers in the entire country that certify their Pre-Owned. It's a good chance that nothing on the RV will be inspected, Pressure tests, LP gas Drop Test and gas safety checks. We go through a thorough 440 Point inspection in order for an RV to be certified.
If you are very familiar with RVs then do it on your own. If you do not understand the way things should work then use a dealer or a good friend that can teach you how things work. Refrigerator, furnace, inverter, converter, batteries and all of the other devices that are not like the ones you have at home.
We purchased a used unit there last year. Great people to work with. Highly recommend.
