It is a historic site but then you could take them to the beach it is not far from there.

Kids under the age of 7 will really not enjoy it. Suggestion of doing a checklist or scavenger hunt to add some interest into looking at displays and rooms.

It's a lovely but small mission. There weren't any kid activities, so unless the mission can hold their attention, I would make it a very quick visit, maybe go to a kid park first.
