Carpet was mostly dry in 10 hours. I would like to say that I couldn't disagree more with Christy Traynham's evaluation. I have Stanley Steemer clean my carpets three times a year. The carpet is pale and I have 2 dogs and a cat. Stanley Steemer has done an excellent job of cleaning my carpets. Wouldn't have anyone else.
They did our whole house in less then an hour and it was dry within 2 hours and I'm thinking it is because they did a really really bad job...we were not happy at all!! We went and bought a steam cleaner and went over it ourselves and th as t was way better then what they!! And between the windows being open and the fans going it took about 4 hours for the carpet to dry the stairs took forever it seemed like to dry. I would definitely not recommend Stanley carpet cleaners to anyone!!
Typically, it takes anywhere between 8-24 hours for carpet to dry and between 2-6 hours for upholstery to dry. Using fans and turning your heating or cooling on can help speed up drying time.
