Many years ago there was a Walsh Brothers Grocers in Joliet. Maybe circa 1930-1940. They were related to me. I recently heard one of the brothers, Thomas?, was robbed and murdered after hours on his way home. Where would I find such information?

Hi Laurie. Are you close enough to Joliet to visit the public library? They likely have microfilm archives for the local newspaper and could also have Yellow Pages phone books from different years and eras.

Thank you Guy! Where was the store located? Yes, I've been trying to search some sites. Will stay at the drawing board for this adventure! Have a great year also, and thank you again.

Hi Laurie, I honestly don't know. I've attended 2 music events there on the roof. Have you tried looking for Joliet News outlets for historical data or articles. Ibthink that's where I'd try. I wish you Good luck finding what you're looking for and have a great 2018! Guy
