Yes
When we moved from Illinois to Huntsville Texas we parked a 24' moving van with vehicle in tow at the Walmart there over night. Very safe there!
Walmart has always been friendly to truckers. Not sure the experience Wayne had represented all Walmart stores or a specific one. I am not a trucker but it sounds like he is.
If you are delivering you can be there an hour before drop time, any earlier than that, they make you come. There is a vacant lot down the street where you can sleep. When you come out the gate turn left and go to the end of the block. Lot is on your right. No overnight parking at the DC.
I see them parked here a lot. As long as you are with the truck I don't see a problem
Yes, but ask management before overnighting. Usually, if you make a nominal purchase (say $10) you can get clearance. Just dock in the outer lot towards the side.
No overnight parking
Walmart allowed overnight semi parking at the very front of the parking lot as long as you stay with the truck.
Usually allowed
No it be best to call the store to ask the manager if they will allow you to park overnight. Usually they don't but they may have changed the policy since.
