Do you need water shoes, or is the ground padded with water?

They have water running through the walkway.

Shoes are not needed but in some parts you can burn your feet because the walk-way bakes in the sun

I went from open to close and didn't need them at all. 👍

Don't need shoes

My kids never wear shoes. We go all the time. 14 yo & 12 yo.

They have water walk ways in most areas. The wave pool has a rough floor in some areas. My kid wears them.

Water shoes aren't a must but probably a good thing to have only certain areas where the ground has water
