I just spent the day there with my four year old. There are some height limits but we were able to get him into the wave pool which was fun. he also did just fine on the rainbow slides himself as well as the small twisty slides next to them. I went on some of the larger slides where parent and child we're going down together. I guess it also depends on the attendant at the slide.
For the rainbow slides, I would suggest someone rides with him. There's also a "kiddie park" inside. So you have options.
They do have a kiddie pool for the smaller 3 year olds. But your 3 year old, standing a 4'-2" tall can go on pretty much anything they have. Unless that 50" was a typo.
There's a kiddie pool and slides.
I went there with my three year old granddaughter and she would have been able to slide down the rainbow slides if she wanted. They do have a small kids pool with smaller slides and a two other smaller pools that have shallow areas for smaller children. I was surprised how much fun she had and how long we actually stayed.
