Skyline Chili is a Greek dish. It is very different than American Chili but no less delicious. Skyline is about the spice "chili powder". That's what the sauce is based on...the chili spice. The dish is designed to be eaten with the sauce on bottom, spaghetti in the middle, tons of finely shredded cheese on top. You cut into it with your fork and as it melts, the cheese holds everything together. Get rid of the notion it's like American Chili. It's not. Appreciate the story and how the family created it. It's different but good.
The chili is like a Greek style bolegnes sauce, many people love it but not everyone. I highly suggest it with the onions and cheese. And, it's relatively inexpensive.
