Why are refrigerators marked as 'In Store' but they're not available for pickup? I get I can see it in the store but I need to be able to take it home.

It was explained to me that there are shortages on the electronic components of many appliances. This is why you have to wait anywhere from a week to a month to get your appliances from Home Depot.
