Brewing Reinheitsgebot is easy. Most of our beers follow the "beer purity law" just because that's the way the recipes fell out. We don't adhere to Reinheitsgebot, though. For example, we use rye in Arc Welder Dunkel Rye. While we love the air of mystique, here, brewing beer the ole German way is just as utilitarian, efficient, and smart as you might imagine. Thanks for the great answer! Unfortunately, it seems that all (most) other local brewers take pride in only doing ales, and if they do try lagers, they throw in all sorts of other ingredients, such as fruits, mushrooms, other vegetables, etc,, trying hard to be the coolest, most adventurous, hippest brewer. Hey, it's beer ! Lager doesn't mean Bud, Miller, PBR, etc. Therefore, LOVE your lagers!
They do not mention that on their website
