Depends on the year of the car my car is a 2009 I registered it back in October when I moved back to NY it ran about $200.00 only because I bought it here in NY. If you bought a car out side of NY you will have to pay sales tax on it when you go to register it.
IT DEPENDS ON THE WEIGHT OF THE CAR OR TRUCK HOW BIG OR HOW SMALL.
So maybe a 2008 shouldn't cost that much to get it register?
