I had surgery on my knee. My experience was really good. As pertaining to stem therapy I do not know.

I've searched peer reviewed journals and have not found evidence that stem cell therapy works... yet. Too many variables. For sure don't pay to get shots from chiropractors, the way the cells are harvested, divided, and stored varies widely. I've heard some "harvests" are divided 10 times before they get to the patient so the number of cells is low. My question has been, how to make the cells differentiate into what you specifically want. They are injected into a site, but then what? What's to make them stay there and what's to make them become only the tissue you're after? Too much unknown and way too expensive.
