Lathlena, Once you bring your items to WEB and we refund the CRV to you we then bale up each product individually. Each week we take the materials in our main yard to a CA Certified Processor, they in turn shred chip or pulverize the material for the next step in the recycling process. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for your interest in what we do. WEB Recycling

Once Web buys your recycling they process it sort of like you do. Web separates the recycling on a larger scale to be sold to another recycler and the true number of how many times does this happen, I don't know. Somewhere along the line during each processing of each type of recycled goods is the last step where that recycler breaks down the recycling he is buying and he starts the process of rebuilding what is to become of your old milk jug, glass drink bottles and even those near empty soda cans.
