Are you able to help with a vouchers for some curtains or something that can be used as curtains. We moved to a place in Jefferson city and the windows are so big we don't have anything to put on them or the money to get materials to cover them

Kenny, thanks for your question. As noted below clothing vouchers are given out each Thursday at 10am at the Shelter and Social Service building (not the building this Google page is linked to). Furniture vouchers are given to those with a Red Cross referral. I encourage you to call our Thrift Store at 718 Michigan Street at 573-635-1463 and see if they have any fabric or curtains, I know they will be good value if they have them.

You might be abel to get a voucher for the thrift store if you go down to the shelter and talk to Hampton..tell him your in need

They only help with household items if you have had a fire. Otherwise it's clothing only. Sheets and blankets are really cheap though.
