It's part of the loss prevention plan. It's normal for Wal-Mart, especially with the introduction of the self-checkouts. If you're paying for your stuff as you should be, then why worry about it? The employees are just doing their jobs.
It's really unprofessional.
I rarely shop in store for that very reason. I get everything online or from the store pick up.
It doesn't happen all the time maybe if you purchased something big and can't be bagged they will check it
I know at one time, there were major losses at the Leesville WallMart store due to self checkout. I also realize they must check anything not bagged. If it genuinely bothers you, suggest you might consider pick-up on your larger orders (not being ugly, just a sympathetic suggestion). Glad they still offer this, although there are things I prefer to pick (produce, meats, etc).
Yes. It's normal. The only time they don't check is when someone doesn't care about their job
Normally I don't but recently I noticed they are doing it.
Never been asked to see my receipt. The employees always put my stuff in the Walmart sacks I bought there.
I work at a Walmart myself and I can personally assure you that is nothing personal it's just that we literally get in trouble if we don't ask for receipts
Just like Meme FODDER said usually if you have items not in a bag that they will check you. I had woked for Wal-Mart for a little over a year in the past.
I haven't been checked at all in the past year. I never see anybody else getting checked either. That is strange.
Not everytime.Depends.
Depends, usually if it's not in a bag I'm stopped.
