I also recieved a letter in November and still havent heard anything back i checked the list and i my number went down but now i cant even access the site anymore anyone else have this problem?
I have received the same letter asking if still interested. I turned it in on time. I recently updated my contact phone number in writing to them. I have been on the waiting list since 2014. This is new to me. I check the website all the time. I have noticed I was number 146 then now 147? I did however get pushed back on the waiting list at a point in time for having a child? I didn’t know I had to notify them? No one answers the phone and there is not much help with this situation. How is a person just able to just wait and not know? That is not right! How does someone get to the top of the list get pushed back to like 3,000 +, get moved to the top and get moved down a person? Wowww FHC please get it together! It would be nice for the people that actually needed help to get help not hurt!

It seems like this section 8 with Ferndale is straight bs. I been accepted but I personally not gonna depend on it. If I get a voucher in the next decade then so be it. Good luck people!

I was next to move in then i get aletter saying is that you have to be a ferndale resident now im 500 on list if you dont live in ferndale your name and information gos to the bottom of the list Decrimanation
Don't feel bad my son applied for section8 and public housing in Jan of 2015 than was sent a letter asking which program did he want to stay on he wrote a letter saying he wanted to stay on the section 8 waiting list so he can move and take it with him Ferndale housing sent him a letter telling him they took him off the section 8 waiting list. I don't think that's fair Because he was selected to be on public housing and section 8 waiting list he chose section 8 than they decided public housing. But to get straight to the point he homeless and still waiting as well.
