Check the website for the free days, but beware, the museums are usually crazy on the free days. If you are an educator, general admission is free. But you still have to pay for the extra exhibits.

These are the following free days for Illinois residents only: January 10-12, 16-19, 24-26, 31. February 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28. June 5-9, 12.

There are also free passes available at every CPL branch, but as they are popular I would advise calling your local library to check current availability since they are frequently checked out

If you go to the MSI website, they just posted the free days for 2018...actually every Chicago museum has posted their free 2018 days...these are for IL residents only...but I believe there is a free week in February for all residents...

I know that there are some free days for illinois residents. It changes every month, so, look on there website for the.most updated info. But, if you are a Bank of America user. You can show your debit or credit card for free admission the first weekend of the month.

There are not. How ever there are days in certain months that if you are a IL resident you do get in free i belive the next time that is in February. Though it can be found on there website for exact days in that month.
