If I am not mistaken kids 12 and older are considered under the adult ticket price of about $20. The museum has discounts for students (w/ ID) however and Illinois residents.

Prices do vary according to what package you buy. 21.95 for general entry; 33.95 for entry plus 1 "experience"; 45.95 plus 2; 57.97 plus 3. If you buy your tickets online, you save $2 per ticket. The experiences are special exhibits, some permanent, some temporary.

Depending on if you pick one thing, 2 things ot 3 things. They start at 21.45 and go up. For 3 of us 2 adults and a 7 year old it was 122.85 for explorer 2, parking was 22$ extra.
