Does the parking garage at the museum close when the museum does or can you leave your car there and access the garage from outside? We have considered paying to park there and then take a train into town and get our vehicle later in the evening.

I am really not sure. I think the best thing would be call them directly. Recently When i parked early in the morning before the museum opened, one of the parking lot structure door was open but that could have been coincidental.
