How do you apply for section 8?

I applied for section 8 in 2010 I don’t know what’s going on I have an number but don’t know how to retrieve it

Whenever they open up the waiting list you can apply! Just go on the housing authority website to whatever state you would like to apply with and check for waiting list opening
