I never had any issues yet. You should always check expiration dates at mom and pop stores.
Are you sure it's not just a manufacturing date?
I check expiration dates AND country of origin from all food stores ~ even HEB ~ you'd be surprised !
Had never bought an expired item from. But I think if you buy an item with an expiry date it should be returned. I believe they would accept it back as I find them friendly
I can't believe they did not at least exchange it!
Gee I would think they should take it back as long as you didn't open it. I gotten stuff at Wal-Mart that was past the expiration date lots of times but they took it back. Gotta check I guess.
