They are delicious as is or you can warm them up- it's a matter of preference. They are not cookies- they contain raisins and have a dense dough that is sweet!
Well I know my mother always liked them split lightly toasted with butter maybe some jam as they already do contain raisins but I like to eat them as is fresh no toast no butter as I think they are already exquisite. So its actually how you would prefer there is no right or wrong way unless some one from the queens side of the pond says otherwise? Lol
They are biscuits with raisins I think inside and they called them tea biscuits on right side inside case on bottom
What are you referring to as tea biscuits? I'm not familiar with any cookies from this bakery that I would warm in the oven first.
