We used to love Carlos. We went this last Sunday, got a chocolate chip cookie and a piece of confetti cake. The cookie was hard and not fresh. The slice of cake was pre-packaged as if it came out of a vending machine. They also used to fill the cannolis as they were ordered, now they are pre-filled just sitting there. Not sure If will give it another chance.

Overpriced. Seriously had carrot cake. Dry dry dry. Seems like you are paying for name. Much better bakeries in South Philly.

SO expensive for very meh desserts. Recently got cake from here and was shocked by how much it cost and then how low quality it was. Ended up throwing most of it out. Other family owned, local bakeries to check out way before resorting to this one.
